Cabin bed ideas

Cabin bed for gilrs
Considering I have many children and therefore many cabin beds, we have become experts on how to decorate them. The cabin bed that first belonged to my oldest son is now not really in a condition to be used anymore, but I still remember that he decorated it in a castle like style with a moat and a bridge drawed on the side of the bed.
After him it seems all my kids developed artistic skills by learning to draw and paint on their cabin beds.
Cabin bed stencil art
A nice way to decorate those dull looking cabin beds is using stencil. You can buy them at most furniture and even hardware stores. There aren’t any made only for beds (at least I haven’t seen one yet
), but those meant for walls can easily be used. You can also make stencils yourself by cutting a desired shape out of a large piece of cardboard or firm paper. After you acquired your stencil simply attach it to the side of the cabin bed and spray or paint the desired color over the stencil, leaving a stencil shape on the frame. Make sure you use children friendly colours that don’t contain any hazardous chemicals.
